About this event

The official lighting of the Hopeful sign will take place Sunday, September 29th at 5pm at the Franklin Street parklet!

Among those who will be present for the event is its creator, Charlie Hewitt, a native of Lewiston who put up the first “Hopeful” sign five years ago in Portland and has watched it become a cultural phenomenon since then.
